The Wireless Gateway comes with a plug-and-play installation, and is therefore easy to set up and use. It comes with a Wi-Fi pairing button for easy protected setup and supports standard Internet browsers.

However, in spite of being an awesome product, ARRIS SURFboard SBG6580 has some areas of concern. The modem is not compatible with AT&T U-verse and Verizon FiOS. Moreover, it requires cable internet service to function.
Though the product claims to provide a download speed of up to 343 Mbps and upload speed of 131 Mbps, the actual speed depends on the Internet speed of the cable provider.
